PROBATE FILES UP THROUGH DEC. 1884 presently available, more coming in early 2017!

We hope to have another large batch of microfilm available this winter--probably in February. Watch this announcement for the "when" and what years of probate cases are finished and available. That will complete the Franklin County Probate project files up through the end of year 1900!

See the Probate Index Listings on our Probate page!

Note that in probate cases which were filed at the court after 1875--the RECEIPTS were not microfilmed. In those files, only the COURT PAPERS were microfilmed. But the receipts were still kept with the files so that you can see them just in case they might be helpful to you.

( This listing updated Dec. 22, 2015. Still awaiting the completion of the next group of microfilms here early 2017.)
